If you still have July changeout quotes out, they are priced off a sheet that is already wrong.

What: Goodman, Amana, and Daikin are the changeout equipment a lot of shops sell. Geary Pacific and ACHR both list Daikin ductless, VRV, and light commercial, Daikin OEM parts, Goodman, and Amana at up to 7% as of Aug 3, 2026.
So-what: A changeout you quoted in July is sitting on last month's cost.
Now-what: Go through the open Goodman, Daikin, and Amana quotes this week. Raise them, or let them die.
2. Art's Sheet Metal, 5% on Aug 1
What: Art's Sheet Metal is the fittings and takeoffs on a lot of residential duct jobs. Geary and ACHR list 5% as of Aug 1, 2026.
So-what: Elbows and takeoffs you priced in July cost more now.
Now-what: Order the fittings you will actually use this month. Extra boxes on the rack just sit there.
3. Legend Valve, 3-25% on Aug 1
What: Legend Valve moved 3-25% by product group on Aug 1, 2026. ACHR says some categories are the 25% end.
So-what: Hydronic and valve lines on an open bid can be way off if you used the July sheet. Splitting the difference is how you eat the 25%.
Now-what: Get the new Legend sheet before you order. The range is too wide to guess.
